Lorikeets have some unique care requirements, so their new family should be prepared to provide:

A high-quality commercial lorikeet nectar as their primary diet, prepared fresh daily.
Fresh fruit and suitable vegetables offered in moderation to provide enrichment and variety.
Fresh drinking water and clean nectar available every day.
A spacious cage or aviary with plenty of room to climb, flap, and play, along with supervised time outside the enclosure whenever possible.
A variety of bird-safe toys, climbing branches, swings, and foraging activities to keep their active minds engaged.
Daily social interaction and enrichment, as lorikeets are highly social birds that enjoy companionship.
