Frankie

At just 5 months old, Frankie is a handsome tabby lad who is currently channelling his inner Frankie Bergstein-he is incredibly sensitive, feels things very deeply, and is finding the corporate, fast-paced vibe of the shelter to be an absolute shock to his system.

Frankie is currently in our Scared Cat Program to help him find a family who can help him navigate his big feelings. The loud noises and constant activity here have left him feeling very overwhelmed, and he prefers to safely retreat into a cozy spot where he can meditate on his surroundings from a distance. He isn't the type to confidently march out and greet you; instead, he is a gentle, worried soul who is looking for a patient adopter to act as his grounded, calming "Grace."

Frankie needs a peaceful, predictable home where he can have a dedicated safe space to decompress at his own baseline pace. The key to his heart will be a slow, hands-off approach initially, allowing him to realise he is safe out of the busy shelter environment. With time, soft words, and a steady routine, this sensitive tabby will slowly let his guard down and flourish.
