If you’re looking for a little best friend who wants to share every moment with you, then Splinter might just be your perfect match.
This beautiful young Jack Russell boy has the sweetest nature. He’s playful, affectionate, and happiest when he’s with his people. Whether you’re moving around the house or relaxing on the couch, Splinter will be right by your side, happily following you wherever you go.
Splinter is wonderful with children and absolutely loves having friends to play with. He’s having the best time in foster care playing with his equally playful foster pup, and together they’re always zooming around, wrestling, and having fun. One of his favourite pastimes is trying to catch streams of water from the hose or shower—he could happily play that game all day!
One of Splinter’s cutest quirks is his adorable toothy grin. When he’s excited or happy, he’ll flash the sweetest little smile, showing off his tiny teeth. It’s impossible not to smile back!
When playtime is over, Splinter turns into the ultimate cuddle bug. Personal space isn’t really his thing! He loves sleeping on the bed and will often snuggle himself right in between your legs or curl up as close to you as he possibly can. Being near his humans is where he feels safest and happiest.
Splinter is already toilet trained and is learning to walk nicely on the lead. He can sometimes bark at other dogs while out and about, but with patience, consistency and positive encouragement, he’s continuing to improve.
He really is such a beautiful boy, with the perfect mix of fun, affection, and a calm, loving temperament. As he’s still a young pup, he’ll thrive with a family who will continue his training, include him in their daily lives, and give him all the love he so happily returns.

Adoption details
* Once an interest is lodged on a dog, a member of the team will call the person and follow up within 24 hours of receiving.
* An adoption form is emailed to the applicant for completion once the initial call has quantified a fit for the said animal.
* Once the application is received back to PPAR with yard photos a meet for the animal is organised.
* If the meet is a success, Adoption is then activated with all relevant paperwork emailed including MC transfer / all vet work certificates (C5 / desex etc.)
* Team member will follow-up after the successful adoption to ensure all is going well
