Meet Buddy 💙

Looking for a loyal companion who's happiest simply by your side? Buddy could be just the friend you've been hoping to meet.

Buddy is a gentle older boy with a calm, affectionate nature. He loves following his favourite person from room to room before settling down nearby for a well-earned nap. Whether you're reading a book, watching TV or enjoying a quiet afternoon at home, Buddy is content just being close.

He's currently living in foster care with a loving family, where he's shown what an easy-going companion he is. Buddy has lived with children and both large and small dogs. He's equally happy as an only dog or sharing his home with another calm canine companion. He enjoys the occasional game of chase, but he's not interested in rough-and-tumble play and appreciates dogs who are as relaxed as he is. He hasn't been tested with cats.

Buddy takes new experiences at his own pace. Rather than rushing in, he likes to watch, think things through, and then happily join in once he feels comfortable. It's one of the many things that makes him such a thoughtful, easy-to-live-with companion.

He's a pleasure to walk on lead, rarely barks, never jumps up, and absolutely adores affection. Buddy is slightly hard of hearing, but it certainly doesn't slow him down. He's otherwise fit, healthy and enjoying life.

His foster family describe him as an absolute joy to have around, and it's easy to see why.

Because he's living in foster care, we know his personality and can help you decide if he's the right fit for your home. Simply submit an adoption application and we can arrange a meet and greet.

MEDICAL NOTES
Adoption fee includes vet check, vaccination, microchip (including transfer of ownership fee), flea and worm treatment and sterilisation.

ADOPTION NOTES
Our adoption process for the successful applicant includes a meet and greet, (including your own dog if applicable), a home check (or photos of your yard and fencing to be supplied to us if not local), and a two week trial period to ensure your chosen dog is the right fit for your home.

All adoption fees must be deposited into our SAFE Bunbury bank account in full before adoption trial starts (we cannot accept cash). The Adoption Agreement will be emailed to the selected applicant in advance of meeting your chosen dog.

After the adoption trial period has been completed we arrange transfer of ownership of the dog's microchip to the new owner, and email out the vet records.
