Hi, I’m Stardust. I'm just a baby, but the world has felt like a pretty scary place so far…

Nature
People still frighten me. If I feel cornered, I'll hide away, and sometimes I shake because I don't know if I'm safe yet. I'm trying so hard to be brave, but trust is something I'm still learning, one tiny step at a time. I don't really like being touched, so I'd prefer if you keep your hands to yourself until I tell you it's okay.

The funny thing is… as soon as I see another cat, I'm a completely different little girl! I absolutely adore other cats. They make me feel safe, and I get so excited that I can't help greeting them with the sweetest little trills. Having a confident feline friend by my side gives me courage and shows me that maybe humans aren't so scary after all. I follow the big cats around and will even sit and watch my humans from the doorway if the other cats are around.

What I need most isn't someone looking for the perfect cat right now. I need someone who believes in the cat I can become—or someone who just wants a cat for their cat, with no strings attached!

A quiet home, lots of patience, and a family willing to let me move at my own pace will mean everything to me. Please don't expect pats or friendliness straight away. I need you to earn my trust, and I may lash out in fear to begin with. But every little milestone, every curious glance, and every brave step towards you will be something we've achieved together.

If you have a gentle heart, another friendly cat, and enough love to help a frightened little soul blossom, I promise I'll keep trying. Maybe one day, I'll shine as brightly as my name.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I would prefer a quiet, mature home with no children.

It is essential that I have a friendly cat companion in my new home. If you don't already have one, perhaps you could adopt me with one of my friends from my foster home.

I get along well with dogs and currently live happily with both big and small ones.

Likes / Dislikes
I love food, it's the way to my heart! My Foster Mum sits with me at dinner time, and I'll sometimes let her sneak in a few pats while I'm eating.

I don't like being touched until I feel safe and have learned to trust you.

My PURR-fect home is an indoor-only home with a friendly cat companion and patient humans who don't expect me to be affectionate straight away. I'm looking for someone who is prepared to give me weeks, if not months, to build my confidence and learn that pats and affection are safe. All I ask is that you let me go at my own pace, and I'll keep trying every single day.
