I'm a gorgeous 1-year-old Maltese x Shih Tzu x Silky who has come into care through a private surrender through absolutely no fault of my own.

Now I'm looking for a forever family who understands one very important thing...

Life is simply better when we're together.

If you're in the kitchen...

I'll be there.

If you're watching TV...

I'll be there.

If you're working from home...

I'll be supervising.

If you're going to bed...

Excellent... because that's exactly where I was planning on sleeping too. 😴

I don't believe in sleeping near my people.

I believe in sleeping as close as physically possible.

Personal space?

Never heard of it.

One of my greatest talents is greeting my humans.

Whether you've been gone for...

Three seconds...

Or three hours...

You'll receive exactly the same enthusiastic welcome.

Tail wagging.

Happy dancing.

Excited little wiggles.

Honestly, you'd think you'd just returned from a six-month overseas holiday.

My foster family says it's impossible not to smile.

And then there's my smile...

I've got the cutest little underbite that gives me permanent "cheeky little rascal" vibes. It adds so much character to my already adorable face and seems to melt hearts everywhere I go. I like to think it makes me even more irresistible. 🥹

When I'm not busy welcoming everyone home, I absolutely love racing around the backyard with my doggy friends.

Zoomies?

Absolutely.

Sunbaking?

Even better.

There's something about lying in a warm sunny spot that makes life feel pretty perfect.

I'm wonderful with other dogs of all sizes.

When I first meet new doggy friends, I can take a little moment to work out who's who before joining in the fun.

Once I'm comfortable...

I'm all about playing, exploring and snuggling together.

Because I take confidence from other dogs, I'd absolutely love a home with another friendly canine companion who can continue showing me that the world isn't such a scary place.

I also love children.

As with any new home, I may need a little time to settle and build my confidence, but once I know I'm safe, I'm a wonderfully affectionate little companion.

Walks are another funny part of my day.

I love the idea of going for a walk.

Mostly because it means I'm going wherever you're going.

The actual walk?

Well...

I'm still learning that the big wide world isn't quite as overwhelming as it sometimes feels.

With patience, encouragement and plenty of positive experiences, my confidence continues to grow every day.

Around the house I'm generally a lovely quiet little boy...

Unless my self-appointed role as Neighbourhood Security Officer kicks in.

If something unusual happens...

A strange noise.

A visitor.

A suspicious leaf blowing across the yard...

I'll happily let everyone know.

Once I've completed my security check...

It's straight back to cuddling.

One thing I haven't quite mastered yet is fetch.

I'll happily chase the toy.

Catch the toy.

Celebrate catching the toy.

Returning it?

That sounds like your job. 😂

Food, cuddles and praise are definitely the way to my heart.

Tell me I'm a good boy...

Give me a tummy rub...

Maybe slip me a tasty treat...

And we'll be best friends forever.

I'm toilet trained, love spending time with my people, enjoy the company of other dogs and have even been lovely around birds.

Cats haven't been tested yet.

Being a Maltese x Shih Tzu x Silky means I'll need regular grooming to keep my handsome coat looking its very best.

Thankfully, I think looking this good is worth the effort.

More than anything...

I'm simply looking for a family who'll include me in everyday life.

A family who understands that while I can sometimes be a little unsure of new things, underneath it all is a sweet little boy with an enormous heart and so much love to give.

I'll reward your patience with endless cuddles...
