About Smidge
Some kittens are cute. Some kittens are cuddly. And then there’s Smidge, who has somehow managed to fit the emotional capacity of an entire golden retriever into one very small kitten.
If Smidge decides you’re one of his people, prepare yourself! He’ll reach up with his impossibly little paws to gently touch your face, and reward you with the sweetest little kisses imaginable. It’s basically his way of saying, “Congratulations, you’ve been chosen.” It’s impossible not to fall completely in love.
To accompany this heart-melting display is a purr that seems far too powerful to come from such a tiny body. The moment you give him attention, the motor starts and doesn’t seem to have an off switch. It’s loud, proud, and entirely fuelled by love.
Smidge also happens to be the ideal work-from-home assistant. He takes his supervisory role very seriously… by curling up on your lap while you work, purring happily and providing excellent moral support. Occasionally he’ll become convinced that whatever is moving across your computer screen absolutely must be caught immediately, resulting in one enthusiastic pounce before remembering that napping is actually a much better use of his energy. Back onto your lap he goes, returning to the very important business of looking ridiculously adorable.
When he’s not busy loving his humans, Smidge is wonderfully easy to entertain. He’ll happily spend ages batting balls around his little track toy, proving that the simplest games are often the best. Watching him play is a reminder that happiness doesn’t have to be complicated.
Smidge would thrive in a busy home where there are plenty of people to admire him, cuddle him, and accept the regular face taps and kitten kisses that come with being part of his inner circle. He has so much love to give, and he’s simply looking for a family who’ll give it right back.
Please note that Smidge will need to be an inside cat for his safety. Cats and kittens with light noses and/or ears are more susceptible to getting sunburnt, and in turn, getting skin cancer.
All AWL NSW kittens and cats come litter trained, desexed, microchipped and will have received their first vaccination.
