About Basalt
Hey there my name is Basalt! Me and my siblings came to the shelter after being surrendered to the pound. We weren't in the best condition when we arrived, we were underweight and had clearly been eating rocks, hence our names. You wouldn't know that our life started out so rough though! We are all so sweet and playful. I am the most human orientated of the litter. I like to hang back when my siblings are playing and sit by the humans, leaning into your legs for a pat and a cuddle. When we first arrived into care the world was a bit to big for us, and we were shy and unsure but with slow introductions we have really come out of our shell! We go on walks with other dogs and have met lots of new people! We are working on our training and are learning to sit. We love food! So training with treats is the way to go! We are down as Bull Arab pups, though we aren't that tall for our age, so we may stay medium to large in size rather than extra large like most Bull Arabs. I am very slight in frame and people ask if I have greyhound or whippet in me, I am sure fast like one!
If you are ready to add a new addition to your family, I may just be your boy! Apply to meet me today!
