About Star
Star is a sweet and affectionate girl who can be a little nervous at first. Once she feels safe and comfortable in her home, her loving personality will begin to shine through. She enjoys being close to her people and will happily seek out pats, cuddles, lap time and play.
Star is an active and playful cat with a particular love of chasing toys. She is also very food motivated and enjoys treats, although she does tend to eat quickly.
Due to her nervous nature and some toileting concerns, Star will need patient adopters who are willing to give her time to settle in and adapt to her individual needs. A calm, predictable environment and an understanding of cat body language will help her feel safe and build confidence.
Star would be best suited to a calm adult-only home. She would likely prefer to be the only pet, where she can enjoy a quiet environment and plenty of one-on-one attention from her people.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
