About Asha
Meet Asha! Asha is a gentle, affectionate boy who has blossomed into a loving companion once he feels safe. While he may be a project cat and a little shy when meeting new people, a calm home, a predictable routine and a little patience will help his sweet personality shine. Before long, he'll be following you around, curling up on your lap and asking for gentle pats.
Asha loves interactive play, especially wand toys, and enjoys spending time with his people. He has also shown he can get along well with other friendly cats after slow introductions.
A quiet home with adults or respectful older teenagers would suit Asha best. If you're looking for a loyal feline friend and are happy to let him settle in at his own pace, Asha will reward you with plenty of love and companionship.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
