Luna is such a happy puppy loving life. Unfortunately we have to place her on hold for some weeks as she has just gone into season and it will be some weeks before she will be desexed. Keep an eye on this little live wire. Your applications are welcome but she is a work in progress.
Luna is the full Frenchie puppy package, friendly, funny and full of beans. This sweetie is seeking a new family through no fault of her own. Luna is a spirited puppy, who loves people and dogs of all sizes. No shrinking violet, Luna tends to throw herself into everything in search of contact and fun. She is just a baby and full of hilarious excitement for life. In foster care, she was initially over-excited but settled quickly and has shown herself to be a smart cookie, able to sit, rapidly improving her toilet training, and taking cues on better canine manners from her older foster sibling. Luna has previously lived happily with small children and had brief curious contact with a cat. She has had some crate training and is able to settle overnight near her people.
Luna will do well with an active family or couple who can involve her in daily activities and offer her fun and games that build her skills and occupy her mind. This social butterfly would love to live with a friendly tolerant adult (not senior) dog or could be a solo pup with plenty of family interaction and opportunities to connect with her canine kind out and about. She is not a candidate for being left alone all day, but is learning to settle and entertain herself for short periods.
Luna would benefit from group puppy training to develop her social skills and give her the foundations she needs to be a certified very good girl. She could live in an apartment but would need plenty of opportunities to explore the world. Like all Frenchies, Luna will always need indoor climate-controlled access. If you are up for the joy and responsibility of an exuberant pup, Luna may just be your girl.

All our dogs are desexed, C5 vaccinated with intranasal, microchipped,
wormed, and flea treated. All necessary vetwork such as dentals,
surgery, eye treatment are also carried out. We are no longer heartworm
testing as we have not had one positive test since we began in 2006. If
a dog comes to us on heartworm treatment this is continued.

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer free assistance for six weeks for any issues, a lifetime takeback policy with full refund of the adoption fee, and will always be available to offer advice.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.

Unfortunately we usually will not have time to reply to enquiries in more detail and will give priority to completed applications over enquiries. Priority will also be given to typed applications which are easier for us to read and to copy relevant parts.
