About Bfg
🐾 Meet BFG (Big Friendly Giant) 🐾
His name couldn't be more fitting-BFG is exactly what he sounds like: a Big Friendly Giant with a gentle heart and the quiet soul of an old friend.
This handsome boy came into our care with a few old battle scars from life on the streets. As part of his work-up, he was tested and found to be FIV positive. He has also had a dental procedure, including a scale and polish and a few tooth extractions, and has recovered beautifully.
Although naturally shy, BFG is an incredibly sweet and gentle cat who simply needs a little time to feel safe. Once he settles in, his calm, affectionate nature shines through. He's not one for drama or chaos-he'd much rather spend his days enjoying a sunny window (from indoors, of course), a comfy bed, and the quiet company of his favourite people.
Because he is FIV positive, BFG will need to be strictly indoors to protect both himself and other cats. Now that he is desexed and has such a gentle temperament, he would be happiest as the only cat in the home or living with another friendly, desexed FIV-positive cat.
Due to his sensitive nature, BFG would be best suited to a calm home with older children who understand that he may need a little time to come out of his shell.
If you're looking for a gentle companion with a heart as big as his paws, BFG is ready to leave his tough days behind and spend the rest of his life being someone's much-loved gentle giant. 🐾💙
