Buku is a sweet, playful boy with a beautiful big heart and an even bigger love for cuddles!

Buku’s days are filled with the important puppy things in life — eat, play, sleep, repeat! He loves playing with his resident mentor doggy friend, zooming around the yard and then curling up for snuggles with his humans and doggy friends afterwards.

Buku is still learning his manners, including sit and stay. He isn’t much of a jumpy boy too which is great — all still a work in progress, but he’s a quick learner who will thrive with continued positive training and guidance. Toilet training is also coming along, with only a couple of little accidents so far. Still learning to use the doggy door.

At night, Buku sleeps well snuggled up beside his humans or doggy friends, happiest when he’s close to those he loves. He absolutely adores cuddles, pats, and simply being near his people and furry friends.

Currently in foster care with two children (12 & 14) and a resident dog, Buku has settled in wonderfully. His breed mix will benefit from regular exercise, enrichment, and mentally stimulating activities to help him grow into a happy, balanced companion.

Buku is looking for an active, loving family who will include him in lots of adventures. He would love a doggy companion and children to run around and play with. He travels well when secured in the car and is beginning to learn some lead manners too.
