The beautiful girl Sheila, is a dream dog. She is super calm, and very chilled, extremely friendly and very lovable. She is possibly crossed with a golden Labrador, as she has the beautiful, sweet nature, and size of a lab.
As she's an older girl (4 years old), she's a very easy dog, with no bad habits, (except for curling up on the couches, which we are working on). Therefore, no training is required. She just wants to please her special person.
She loves attention and will rest her head on your lap for a pat and a cuddle. She has a stuffed toy (baby), that she cares for exceptionally well. She plays with it in the backyard, throwing it in the air, and catching it. She also carries it upstairs to bed each night, and curls up with it in bed. She then brings it back downstairs with her each morning.
She socialises extremely well with her three dog buddies at her foster home, so another dog as company would be a benefit, but not a necessity, if her special person is home with her the majority of the time, to give her the attention that she deserves. She's an indoor/outdoor girl, as she loves to be close to her people, so therefore sleeps inside at night. She does have a little separation anxiety.
It has taken nearly three weeks, but she now plays and runs happily with her foster doggie siblings. She does socialise much better with the two female submissive doggie siblings, so another submissive dog would be ideal.
She hasn't been crate trained, as she is so well behaved, there hasn’t been a need to use one. The crates (with comfy beds) are available to her, but she's shown no interest.
She has been well cared for, even though she has been living rough with her former owner. Being in that situation, she is very well socialised, and loves everyone that she meets. No mean bones in this girl's body.
If you are after a watch dog, Sheila isn't your dog. She is super friendly to everyone that she meets, and greets them with her wiggle butt.
Sheila would suit any home situation, as all she wants is love. Therefore she is suitable for a young or older family, an older couple, or a single person. She is a very adaptable girl, and deserves only the best in life.
If you think that you can give her the amazing life that she deserves so much, apply for a meet and greet to see if she will be the perfect fit for you. She definitely deserves nothing less than perfect. This girl is such a gorgeous girl, that it will be very hard goodbye, when she finally finds her furever home.
Sheila is $370 to adopt and comes desexed. microchipped, C5 vaccinated, HW tested (negative), and given flea/tick/worm prevention.
