About Kimba
Kimba is a quiet, thoughtful little soul who likes to take life at her own pace.
Having spent the first part of her life in a colony, the only people Kimba has ever really known are her foster family. Because of this, meeting new people takes time. She isn't the sort of cat who'll rush over to greet visitors, but once she feels safe, her gentle nature begins to shine.
Kimba is happiest observing the world before joining in. She enjoys exploring on her own terms and has a calm, peaceful presence that makes her a lovely companion. While she doesn't usually seek out cuddles herself, she's happy to be picked up for a cuddle and a pat by the people she trusts. When she relaxes, she starts purring and kneading her paws, showing just how content she is.
She's wonderfully easy to care for, completely litter trained, loves her food, and gets along beautifully with other cats and friendly animals. A confident feline companion would likely help her settle into a new home.
Kimba has made enormous progress in foster care, but moving to a new home will be another big change. She'll need a patient family who understands that trust isn't instant, but is incredibly rewarding when it grows.
She has been known to cuddle up on the bed overnight with her foster family, quietly enjoying their company once she feels secure.
Because she's naturally reserved with unfamiliar people, Kimba would be happiest in a calm home with older children or adults who can let her settle at her own pace.
Kimba is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, flea and worm treated, and is ready to find a forever family who'll love her for exactly who she is.
