About Alaska
Meet Alaska, an 11-week-old German Shepherd puppy with a heart full of love and an eagerness to learn. This adorable bundle of joy is sweet-natured and already showcasing the traits of a dog destined for greatness. Alaska's intelligence shines as he quickly picks up commands, proving himself to be a fast learner and eager to please.
German Shepherds are known for their loyalty and protective instincts, and with Alaska being from a reputable show line, he exhibits the remarkable potential for a lifetime of companionship. Unlike the working lines of German Shepherds, Alaska's lineage ensures that he will have a balanced temperament, excellent for family life.
Alaska has been busy getting ready for his new family. He's crate trained for his nighttime sleep, working diligently on his potty training, and showcases no signs of anxiety, making him both adaptable and confident.
He has received his first two vaccinations, is microchipped, and regularly wormed. He's been fed a high-quality diet to support his growth into a healthy adult.

Under the direction of our vet Alaska will be desexed at 6months of age. He must return to our vet in Rosewood for this procedure and the desex fee is included in his adoption price.

What does this mean?
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal will then take place. You must bring advise Waggy Tails if you are bringing your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption.
3. You will need to provide details of your dogs full vaccination status prior to bringing to the Sanctuary.
4. Waggy Tails does not offer trial period for puppies under the age of 6 months who are adopted out. Please ensure you are ready to adopt now. Waggy Tails will do their best to ensure you and your new dog are a good match.
3. Mircrochip transfer takes place after 7 days. Please note this may take up to 4 weeks dependent on microchip paperwork. If for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to Waggy Tails the Adoption fee may be refunded minus an admin fee (Minimum $500).
5. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work UNTIL date of adoption. Inclusive of vaccinations, monthly worming and flea treatment. New owners are responsible for keeping preventatives current at their cost from date of adoption.
