About Snoopy - 10 Month Old Cavoodle
š¾ Meet Snoopy š¾
10-month-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel x Miniature Poodle
Snoopy is a beautiful young boy with so much love to give. He came into care through absolutely no fault of his own after being surrendered to the pound, and heās now looking for a patient, understanding family to help him build confidence and embrace the next chapter of his life.
If youāre looking for a loyal little shadow, Snoopy is your boy. He absolutely loves being close to his people and is happiest when heās right by your side. Whether itās curling up beside you on the lounge or enjoying a gentle neck rub (his favourite!), affection is his love language. A few scratches on his neck will usually have him fast asleep in no time.
Snoopy is crate trained and sleeps soundly in his crate every night without a fuss. He already knows how to sit and is currently learning to stay. Heās also doing really well with his toilet training and, with regular trips outside, has had no accidents indoors while in foster care.
At just 10 months old, Snoopy is still very much a puppy and is learning about the world every day. Heās currently practising walking on a lead with daily walks and is making great progress. Like any young dog, heāll benefit from ongoing training, consistency and plenty of positive reinforcement to help him grow into a confident, well-rounded companion.
Snoopy is still finding his confidence. He can cower if people move too quickly around him and is a little unsure of unfamiliar noises when out on walks. Because of this, he needs a calm, patient family who will continue to build his confidence through gentle encouragement and positive experiences.
Snoopy would love a home where someone is around for much of the day or where he has a friendly canine companion to keep him company. He forms strong bonds with his people and enjoys having company. He is currently living with muti dogs and a cat.
He would suit a home with children aged 8 years and over who understand how to interact calmly and respectfully with a young, sensitive dog.
Snoopy also doesnāt seem to mind cats and could happily live in a home with a cat, provided introductions are done thoughtfully.
As a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel x Miniature Poodle, Snoopy will require regular grooming throughout his life. At the moment, he is too frightened to visit a grooming salon, so he has been having his haircuts at home. His new family will need to be committed to helping him build positive grooming experiences with patience, understanding and lots of reassurance.
Snoopy is looking for more than just a home, heās looking for a family who will see his potential, give him the time he needs to blossom, and love him unconditionally. In return, youāll gain a devoted best friend who simply wants to be included in everyday life and loved as part of the family.
