Lightning is a real sweetheart of a little fellow who has very simple pleasures: being with people who will cherish him. A little timid at first as he has not had much worldly experience in life so far; once he warms up he simply wants to be around his humans and be the centre of your home. Lightning loves cuddles, gentle belly rubs, and sitting on the lounge with you to keep you company. Whilst he will sleep in the dog bed, Lightning prefers to share your bed at night if he's allowed.

He is very dog social with his carer's two small dogs. We don't know how he is around large dogs or cats. Lightning is very nearly fully toilet trained; so once he's in a routine and gets to know his new surroundings shouldn't be too long before he's got it completely licked. His carer says she really can’t fault this sweet little man and that he’ll fit into any loving family with lots of time to share with him.

We can't confirm how Lightning is with young kids but we believe he has lived with older kids. We are sure once he's settled into his new home that he would love to go out and about on walks.

Lightning really deserves the best second chance ever as he's such a darling boy.

MEDICAL NOTES
Adoption fee includes vet check, vaccination, microchip (including transfer of ownership fee), flea and worm treatment and sterilisation.

ADOPTION NOTES
Our adoption process for the successful applicant includes a meet and greet, (including your own dog if applicable), a home check (or photos of your yard and fencing to be supplied to us if not local), and a two week trial period to ensure your chosen dog is the right fit for your home.

All adoption fees must be deposited into our SAFE Bunbury bank account in full before adoption trial starts (we cannot accept cash). The Adoption Agreement will be emailed to the selected applicant in advance of meeting your chosen dog.

After the adoption trial period has been completed we arrange transfer of ownership of the dog's microchip to the new owner, and email out the vet records.
