About Chief
When Chief first arrived in our care, he found the world a little overwhelming. Thanks to the love and patience of his wonderful foster carer, he has made incredible progress and is now beginning to show his true personality. While he can still be a little shy when meeting new people, once he feels safe, Chief is an affectionate, loyal companion who forms strong bonds with those he trusts.
Chief has a playful side too! He absolutely loves his toys and will happily play fetch or chase you around the yard. He's also very food motivated and enjoys enrichment activities like puzzle toys, along with tasty treats such as pig's ears and hooves to keep him entertained.
This handsome boy also loves going for walks and is a fantastic passenger in the car, making him a great companion for adventures big and small.
Chief is looking for a quiet home where his new family will continue to build his confidence with kindness, patience, and positive experiences. Watching this beautiful boy come out of his shell has been incredibly rewarding, and we're excited to see him continue to flourish in a loving forever home.
Chief is currently available for adoption from foster. If you have a quiet home, a big heart, and the patience to help a shy dog continue to blossom, we'd love to hear from you.
Please email gcasstmanager@awlqld.com.au and tell us a little about yourself and why you think Chief would be the perfect fit for your family.
