About: Wetta has a striking tabby coat, with black stripes on her chest and legs, black leopard-like spots on her belly, and flecks of dark ginger through her sides. Once the smallest in her litter, she has now caught up to her sister, Tildy. As a bottle-fed baby, Wetta adores her humans and loves a cuddle. She also has an independent spirit, with an easy-going nature, an explorer’s soul, and an adventurous streak.
On a typical day, Wetta can be found scaling couch mountains, diving through tunnels in search of her foster siblings, or trying to help unpack the dishwasher. She plays hard for a couple of hours—especially when it comes to enthusiastic wrestling sessions with her sister and foster brother or chasing a crinkly toy—until it is time for food or a nap in her favourite perch: the cat tree hammock. She also has a mischievous side and loves nothing more than trying to “surprise” you by jumping out from behind a wall or piece of furniture or pouncing on your leg.
When it comes to affection, Wetta is a delightful little sweetheart. She can often be found grooming her sister, Tildy, or seeking out her humans for cuddles and curling up with you for a nap. She gently nudges her little nose and head into your hand for big, smoochy pats, and her impressive purr engine gets louder by the day.
Wetta is wonderful with both her four-legged and two-legged foster siblings. She adores energetic play with her sister and is cheekily respectful of the older cats, especially her big ginger teenage foster brother, whom she loves pranking and chasing around the house. She is also confident with her primary school-aged human siblings, enjoying gentle hands and patient play.
With her cheeky yet smoochy nature, and her lovely balance of playfulness and independent affection, Wetta would make a wonderful addition to a cat-loving home. She would thrive with other friendly felines—especially her sibling, Tildy - and/or with school-aged children to share in her adventures.
