About Mrs Puff
Meet Mrs Puff ❤️
Mrs Puff is everything people love about pugs wrapped up in one adorable, petite package. She absolutely adores people, loves her food (perhaps a little too much!), and wants nothing more than to be close to her favourite humans.
When she first meets new people or finds herself in unfamiliar places, Mrs Puff can be quite shy and withdrawn. Give her a little patience and reassurance, though, and she quickly blossoms into the sweetest little companion. Once she's bonded with her people, she'll happily stick close by, whether you're relaxing at home or out enjoying a leisurely stroll.
Mrs Puff has a wonderfully gentle, affectionate nature. She's happiest curled up beside you on the couch, following you from room to room, or snuggled up for a nap. Like many pugs, she loves being part of the family and thrives on companionship, so she's looking for a home where she won't be left alone for long periods. Without appropriate boundaries and routine, she could become overly dependent on her people, so adopters who can help her build confidence while still providing plenty of love will be ideal.
Although she's only been spotted playing with a toy once, there's every chance her playful side will continue to emerge as she settles into her new home and gains confidence. Mrs Puff has had BOAS surgery to help with her breathing.
Her Ideal Home
Mrs Puff would love a calm, predictable home where she can truly relax. Loud or chaotic households would likely overwhelm her, so she would be best suited to a quieter environment.
Experience with brachycephalic (flat-faced) breeds would be highly regarded, as her new family will understand her needs, particularly during warmer weather. Access to air conditioning in summer is important to help keep her comfortable.
She would thrive with someone who works from home, is home most of the day, or a retired individual or couple who can enjoy plenty of quality time with her.
Mrs Puff could happily live with a calm, easy-going male dog who would enjoy sharing naps and gentle companionship. She may also do well with another female dog, although she can be a little jealous if she thinks someone else is getting all the attention!
Energy Level
Mrs Puff enjoys getting out for leisurely walks and exploring the world at her own pace. Once she's had her adventure, she's more than happy to spend the rest of the day curled up on a lap or snoozing beside her favourite person.
Suitability to Children
Mrs Puff would be best suited to a home with older, calm children or teenagers. While she doesn't dislike children, the noise and unpredictability of younger kids would likely be too much for her sensitive nature.
Suitability to Other Pets
Mrs Puff has been lovely with other dogs. She's generally quite easy-going and often enjoys following them around before curling up beside them for a cuddle. She hasn't been tested with cats, but based on her gentle temperament, she would likely be unbothered by a calm, cat-savvy feline.
Mrs Puff is a sweet, little pug with an enormous heart. Gorgeous, gentle, and endlessly affectionate, she's the kind of dog who simply wants to love and be loved. If you're looking for a loyal little shadow who will happily accompany you on walks before curling up on your lap for the afternoon, Mrs Puff might just be your perfect match.

We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
