Covern is a 2 year old Sharpei x Bull Terrier who is ready to settle into her forever home where she can be showered with all of the love and cuddles! This super sweet girl adores her people, once you have her trust, she will be your right hand woman!

Covern came into our care as a surrender, at no fault of her own as her previous owner can no longer care for her. She is now looking for a home that will committ to her and provide her with a safe and warm home so she can continue being the fun, loving dog that she is! She would prefer to go to a household with Secondary aged children and older, as she has quite the energy to burn and will need those who are confident with her enthusiasm, but also understand when some space is needed. She could also go home with a dog frined, pending on a successful meet and greet to ensure they are a great match!

When Covern came into our care, we noticed that she had entropian (when the eyelids roll inwards). This can cause discomfort, therefore Covern had corrective surgery and is now looking a million bucks! While recovering, she spent time in foster whre she showed the carers just how special she is. They desrcibed her as a "beautiful, sweet dog" and a girl that house amazing house manners! She loved to nap around, and be wherever her people were in the home. She was well behaved on walks, and would love to say hello to people and other dogs. Her carers also realised how clever Miss Covern is, she knows 'sit' , 'paw', 'spin' , and knows to sit before crossing a road. They did notcie while in foster care, that she struggles to be left alone, therefore Covern's forever family will benefit from some independace training to build her confidence when left by herself for periods of time.
