About Snickers
*In foster care in Elizabeth Bay, Sydney*
Full of energy or affection depending on the moment, Snickers is a gorgeous medium-haired kitten with so much love and laughter to give!
When she's feeling cuddly, she loves to get cosy on your lap or be held like a baby in your arms. But when it's playtime, look out - she's like a streak of (slightly wobbly) lightning, racing around the house as she chases her sister Mars Bar or her toys!
Snickers has a mild form of Cerebellar Hypoplasia, which doesn't hold her back or cause her any discomfort - it just means she has a cute stomp when she walks and she'll sometimes fall over during zoomies or climbing, but she brushes it off like a champ and gets right back up :) This condition doesn't cause pain, progress over time or require any special treatment, and it has no effect on life expectancy.
Snickers owes much of her confidence to her sister Mars Bar, who she follows around adoringly and learns from every day. If you'd like to consider adopting this sweet duo together, you can see Mars Bar's profile here: https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/1202329
Like all Maggie’s pets, Snickers is microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will provide loads of fun toys to play with, delicious treats and humans who'll love me! Due to my wobbles I can be a little cautious, so a quiet and calm sort of home will allow me to flourish and develop my confidence without feeling overwhelmed.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Like most kittens, it varies a lot! One minute I'm snoozing or smooching - the next I'm romping and zooming around!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Children aged 10+ will be my best match.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: It's possible I could enjoy living with another friendly cat, as long as they're not bossy and don't play too rough. I love my sister Mars Bar - maybe there is room for 2 with you? https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/1202329
Dogs are a mystery to me at this stage!

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
The rescue group is no longer taking adoption applications for this pet.
