Sylvie is an affectionate, people-focused sweetheart who simply wants to love and be loved by everyone she meets. Ear rubs, chin scritches and spending time with her favourite humans are high on her list of life's greatest joys. She literally melts when she caressed on her face.

Sylvie is really just a puppy in a bigger body. She's full of enthusiasm, curiosity and excitement for life, and she's looking for a family who will embrace her playful spirit while continuing to guide her as she matures.

One of Sylvie's most endearing qualities is how thoughtfully she approaches the world. If she encounters something unfamiliar, she doesn't panic or overreact. Sylvie absolutely adores other dogs and would happily spend hours playing. She's still learning that not every dog appreciates her enthusiastic greetings or rough-and-tumble play style, so she'll do best with similarly sized or larger dogs who enjoy an active game of chase and wrestling. At this stage she's not suited to busy dog parks, so she'll need an owner who can organise appropriate canine playmates while she continues developing her social skills.

Hiking, bushwalking, beach trips, river adventures or simply exploring somewhere new—she'll happily join you wherever life takes you. She's already learning her recall and making fantastic progress, and with continued practice she'll only become more reliable.

Sylvie is making wonderful progress with her training. She knows how to sit, absolutely loves tasty treats and is eager to learn. House training and place training are coming along nicely, she settles calmly and quietly in her crate at home, and she travels beautifully in a crate in the car.

She's also learning her lead manners. She's easy to manage on a slip lead and responds well to calm, confident handling. A Halti could be introduced if needed, but Sylvie is a responsive dog who genuinely wants to work with her person. Like many young dogs, she learns best after she's had an opportunity to burn off some energy before a training session.

When she's excited, Sylvie can become a little bouncy, but she's responsive to calm correction and quickly settles. She also has absolutely no idea how much space she occupies and can be delightfully goofy—spinning around with excitement and accidentally sending the odd object flying. It's all part of her lovable personality!

Sylvie is looking for more than just a home—she's looking for someone who wants a true companion. She will thrive with an owner who enjoys playing, training and including their dog in everyday life. The more time you invest in Sylvie, the more she'll give back. She absolutely blossoms through engagement and loves learning new skills, exploring new places or simply sharing adventures with her favourite person.
