About Pirate

Endlessly curious about the world around him, three-legged Pirate is a handsome and affectionate kitten who lets nothing get in the way of an adventure!
He adores the odd play session with the other cats in his foster home, and enjoys cuddles with his favourite humans, despite not yet knowing how to stay still for them :)
And he certainly doesn't need any special treatment - though cats who like to roughhouse might be a bit intense for his tastes. He does love feline company, so older kitties or ones with calm temperaments would be a terrific match!
Like all Maggie’s pets, Pirate is microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: Lots of good napping spots, a comfy bed and good rugs are my jam - so they're on my wish list for sure! I do prefer a calm sort of environment, ideally with no stairs to navigate.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I'm a pretty chill guy, with the occasional playful moments. I definitely understand how my body works, so after a small burst of chasing and rumbling with the other foster cats I tend to retreat somewhere quiet and relax.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Respectful and kind children aged 8+ sound lovely to me!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I adore cuddling and napping with other cats, especially older ones who won't constantly bug me to play! Maybe even a gentle, cat-friendly dog would be pleasant company, after a slow and careful introduction?

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
