About Woodstock
Adoption Recommendations:
Dewey is a bashful gentle little man. He came in with his littermate and 2 other dogs. All quite worried at intake. Dewey was housed with his brother Huey for awhile and they got on well most of the time but were having scuffles over food so had to be eventually housed separately. Dewey is very food motivated and will sit for treats. Has never been on lead so is still learning how to walk on lead and will need a patient owner to help him with this and work on his confidence.
Open for the right family.
Meet other dogs at time of adoption. Would do best with a calm social doggie friend. Was able to meet other dog in shelter but is very fearful and easily overwhelmed so will need a slow meet to give him time to gather his confidence.
Best with Children Aged: no known child related issues
Compatibility with Other Dogs: Appears dog social
Training and Behaviour Needs: Needs daily opportunities to learn about life (e.g. puppies, most dogs)
Fencing Needs: Solid fencing (e.g. nothing to climb or height restriction)
Indoors/Outdoors Living Preference: Indoors and outdoors
Additional Needs: Has breed knowledge/experience
