About Hank
Introducing Hank!
Hank is a Husky born 28th August 2025.
Hank was brought into us as a stray & his owner hasn't come to claim him. From what we know they don't have secure fencing & he is easily able to get over their short front fence.
Hank is a very energetic & excitable young man who will need an active family to keep him stimulated. He's your typical happy, vocal Husky who isn't afraid to let you know if he wants your attention & affection.
Since being at the facility, Hank has been a complete crack up of a dog. He is bursting at the seems with character, he's playful, affectionate, a beautiful singer, he's athletic, cheeky and absolutely stunning to look at.
Hank has tested quite well with other dogs, however he does scream in their faces when he's excited, which can be off-putting for some dogs. We believe Hank would be suitable to live with other dogs or be the spoilt only "child" at home. If you have another dog, we will need to do a meet & greet to ensure they get along before going home.
Hank is currently untested with cats.
Hank has shown signs of prey drive towards small animals, so he will need a home with no pocket pets like chickens & rabbits.
Hank has shown no signs of food aggression, however he has shown some signs of separation anxiety since being at the facility.
Hank would love to be included as a member of the family. He is friendly with children, however as he's so young he can be a little boisterous with them.
If you think you could be that furever family for Hank, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com or 0499 900272 to organise a meet and greet.
Hank’s adoption fee is $500, and this includes his desexing, vaccination and lifetime registration. Hank is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Hank is currently located in East Maitland.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
