About Genghis Khan
Genghis Khan was lucky to be found in time when he was lost outdoors extremely emaciated and with a lice burden!
After experiencing a few hurdles in his rehabilitation, he is finally ready for a new home 6 months after his second start.
Genghis is a fancy breed of pigeon commonly referred to as a show king- these birds are large and have a structure that emphasises mass over agility, so sometimes he is not the most adequate flyer. Additionally, prospective adopters should be aware that utility breed pigeons are more prone to cardiovascular and joint issues.
Despite all we have done for him, he is not too fond of people and we believe Genghis would be most comfortable in an aviary home with a girlfriend to have his company.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
