This beautiful long-haired lady is looking for a calm, quiet home where she can finally relax and be herself. Aspen is currently in foster care, which has given us the opportunity to get to know her personality and understand exactly what helps her thrive.

When Aspen first arrived, she was understandably worried about her new surroundings. It took about a week before she felt comfortable accepting gentle pats, and after a couple of weeks her sweet personality really began to shine. Once she knows she is safe, she absolutely adores chin scratches and will happily curl up on your lap or chest while you read, watch television or settle in for the evening. It's her favourite place to be.

By day, Aspen is a champion napper. Once the sun goes down, that's when her playful side appears with a few entertaining zoomies before she settles in again.

Aspen would be happiest as the only cat in the home. Having previously lived with other cats, ongoing conflict left her feeling anxious and overwhelmed, so she is looking for a home where she doesn't have to compete for her space. She can happily live with a very calm, respectful dog, but a peaceful household without young children will suit her best.

She isn't a fan of being picked up, preferring to keep all four paws on the ground, but she's more likely to quietly move away than make a fuss. Give her the choice, a little patience and plenty of kindness, and she'll reward you with affection, companionship and the sweetest cuddles.

Aspen isn't fussy with her food, keeps her gorgeous fluffy coat beautifully groomed, and simply wants a home where she can feel secure and loved.
