About Ollie
Meet Ollie!
Hi, I’m Ollie, and if you’re looking for a loyal little sidekick, I might just be your perfect match.
My favourite place in the world is wherever my humans are. Whether you’re making dinner, working from home, watching TV or heading out for a walk, I’ll happily be by your side. I’m a professional cuddle buddy, an expert lap warmer, and I have so much love to give.
One of my absolute favourite things is spending time with other dogs. I regularly go to doggy daycare, where I have an absolute ball playing with all my furry friends. I also currently live with two large breed dogs in foster care and fit in beautifully with them, so I’d happily share my forever home with another friendly dog.
I’ve been working really hard on my training, and my foster family is incredibly proud of me. I can sit, I’m learning “down,” I wait patiently for my “yes” before eating my meals, and I know how to go to my mat or bed on cue. I’m learning to stay there until I’m released, I’m crate trained, and I have lovely house manners. I even wait politely at doorways (unless I’m absolutely busting for the toilet!). I also have nice leash manners when I’m in calm environments, and every day I’m becoming a more confident little dog.
Like lots of dogs, life hasn’t always been easy for me, and I’ve struggled with anxiety. Since coming into foster care a month ago, I’ve started anxiety medication and the difference has been incredible. My confidence is growing every single week, and my foster family truly believes that, with the right home, consistency and continued support, I’ll continue to thrive. As I become more settled, it’s possible I’ll only need a low dose of medication—or perhaps none at all—under the guidance of my veterinarian.
I’m looking for a home with teenagers or adults who will continue helping me build my confidence and celebrate all the little wins along the way. I love learning, I love routine, and I love making my people proud.
I came into care with my sister, and while it was hard watching her find her forever family first, it’s also helped me become much more independent. Now it’s my turn, and I can’t wait to find the family that’s meant for me.
❤️ If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a gentle heart, wonderful manners, and so much love to give, I’d love to meet you. I promise I’ll keep your lap warm, make you smile every day, and remind you just how special it is to watch a dog blossom. ❤️

We feel Ollie would need to continue medication while he settles into his new home.
