Skipper is a gorgeous 9-month-old, tricolour, desexed male Fox Terrier × Tenterfield Terrier with a gentle heart and so much love to give.

Since coming into foster care, Skipper has shown what a clever little boy he is.

He’s fully house trained, confidently uses a doggy door, and hasn’t had a single accident indoors.

Skipper is a sweet, timid soul who hasn’t had much exposure to the big, wide world. Because of this, he is wary of new experiences and is particularly frightened of large men with gruff voices, having only ever lived with women. He needs a little time to feel safe with new people, but once he trusts you, his playful personality shines through. Before long, he’s racing around the house doing joyful zoomies and happily sharing his affectionate, loyal nature.

Skipper walks nicely on lead, although he’s still gaining confidence as he hasn’t had many opportunities to explore beyond home. With patient, positive guidance, he’ll continue to blossom.

Skipper’s ideal home would be a calm, quiet, female household, or with a couple, providing the man is happy to let Skipper build trust at his own pace. His new family will be rewarded with a devoted companion who forms strong bonds and loves being part of the household.

Skipper is not suitable for a home with cats, as he enjoys chasing them.

Skipper’s adoption fee includes his microchipping, desexing, lifetime registration, vaccination, as well as up to date worm, tick and flea treatments.
