Meet Roxy – 5 Years Old | German Shepherd | A Heart of Gold ❤️
Roxy is a beautiful 5-year-old German Shepherd searching for the forever family she deserves after being left behind when her owners moved overseas. Thankfully, a kind neighbour cared for her until she could come into rescue.
Roxy's world revolves around her people. She is completely house-trained and happiest simply being wherever you are. Whether you're working from home, pottering around the house or relaxing on the lounge, Roxy will quietly sit nearby, watching over you or keeping an eye on the world outside the window. She doesn't demand constant attention—she just wants to be close to the people she loves.
She'll happily follow you from room to room before settling at your feet, occasionally getting up just to check you're still there, often with a gentle lick to remind you she is there. All Roxy wants is a family to love, protect and belong to.
After two unsuccessful dog meet-and-greets, we've decided to focus on finding the home that will truly suit her. While Roxy has never been the one to instigate any tension, her size and enthusiasm appears to be overwhelming for some dogs. Rather than continue putting her through stressful introductions, we're looking for a home where she can be the centre of someone's world.
Roxy walks well on lead but is big and strong so needs to continue with training but she is eager to please and will thrive with continued guidance from a confident owner.

We require an initial application and then if a dog seems a match we can arrange a meet and greet at a local park or the foster carers home. If the meet is successful we then arrange a yard check and if that is satisfactory we require full payment on picking up the dog.
We then give a 2 week trial and if in that time it is not working we will refund all but $50 for admin costs. We also require that the adopter returns our dogs back to us at any time in its lifetime (without a refund) for us to rehome.
