Ruth is a beautiful torbie girl with a sweet heart and just a little bit of sass. She came into our care as a stray, so we don't know much about her past or how she feels about other pets.

A little shy when meeting new people, Ruth sometimes lets out a cautious hiss to let you know she's feeling unsure-but don't let that fool you. Once she realises you're there to be kind, she's more than happy to lean into gentle pats, happily accepts treats, and starts to relax.

Ruth is looking for a patient family who will give her the time and space to settle in and let her confidence grow. She'll thrive with people who understand that her occasional grumbles are simply her way of expressing herself, not a sign that she doesn't want to be loved.

Because of her sensitive nature and tendency to be a little opinionated when she's unsure, Ruth would be best suited to an adult-only home or one with older, cat-savvy children who can respect her boundaries.
