About Rafael
Some kittens blend into the background. Not Rafael.
His full-time hobbies include wrestling his siblings, sneak-attacking their tails, supervising clean up time, and reminding humans that feet were clearly invented to be pounced on. Every toy is his favourite, and every new person is just a friend he hasn't climbed on yet.
When the zoomies finally run out, Rafael reveals his softer side. This little guy is completely obsessed with belly rubs. Give his tummy a scratch and he'll grab your arm with his paws, pull it in closer and shower your fingers with tiny kisses while wriggling around in complete bliss. If you're sitting cross-legged, don't expect to stay that way for long; Rafael has already decided that's the perfect place for a cuddle. His foster carer has one non-negotiable part of the daily routine: morning kisses and bedtime cuddles. Rafael purrs happily through both, proving that underneath all the chaos is a very affectionate little boy who loves being close to his people.
He's a social butterfly who loves other cats and would be thrilled to have a feline friend to continue his wrestling championships. He's also wonderfully confident with people, greeting life with curiosity, enthusiasm and absolutely zero shyness.
Rafael isn't particularly fussy when it comes to toys either. Spinning butterflies? Amazing. Jingly balls? Fantastic. A cardboard box? Also a masterpiece. If it moves, or can be persuaded to move, he's all in.
If your home is missing a tiny comedian, an enthusiastic helper for every household chore, and a kitten who can switch from fearless adventurer to cuddle bug in seconds, Rafael is ready to clock in. Applications from humans with warm laps, a sense of humour and an appreciation for kitten shenanigans are now being accepted.
Please note that Rafael will need to be an inside cat for safety due to his fair skin. Cats and kittens with light noses and/or ears are more susceptible to getting sunburnt, and in turn, developing skin cancer.
All AWL NSW kittens and cats come litter trained, desexed, microchipped, and will have received their first vaccination.
