About Stevie
Meet Sammy!
Sammy is a sweet, gentle soul looking for a quiet home where he can blossom at his own pace. While he may be a little shy at first, once he feels safe you'll discover an affectionate companion who loves ear scratches, cosy lap time, and simply being close to his favourite person.
This handsome boy enjoys sunny windows, high perches, tasty paste treats, and a calm, predictable routine. With patience, a safe space to settle in, and plenty of love, Sammy's beautiful personality truly shines.
Sammy would be best suited to a quiet adult home, preferably with adopters who have experience with shy cats. He may also be a great match for a family with gentle, respectful older teenagers. He could even enjoy sharing his home with a calm, cat-friendly feline following slow introductions.
If you're looking for a loyal companion who will reward your patience with endless love and quiet companionship, Sammy could be the perfect match.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
