Meet Penelope!
Penelope is searching for a loving indoor home where she can feel safe, secure, and part of the family. She loves exploring her surroundings and would enjoy time each day in a secure, rabbit-proofed space before settling into a cosy spot for a nap.
This sweet girl enjoys human company but prefers affection on her own terms, so she's looking for a family who understands rabbit body language and will let her build trust at her own pace.
Penelope would be happiest in a home with adults or gentle, rabbit-savvy children who will respect her boundaries. With patience, enrichment, and plenty of love, she'll blossom into a wonderful companion.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
