About Coco (bonded To Patch)
Hello! I'm Coco!
I'm a curious little ball of piggy fun and I can't wait to explore my new home! I may not always leap paws first into new relationships so I would love a home where I can settle in at my own pace. Once we're best friends you will see my true, cheeky personality shine!
I may be shy at first in my new home so I would love some boxes or tunnels to hide in. Like most guinea pigs I prefer to keep my feet on the floor but I do enjoy being stroked and patted. I will need some slow and gentle handling daily to help my confidence grow.
Once I've settled into my new furever home, you will see how much of a sweetheart I really am! Some guinea pig safe toys to play with will help keep me entertained during the day! I'm more of an indoor piggy at heart, but I'd really enjoy some safe, supervised time outside when the weather permits to snack on fresh grass and soak up a bit of sunshine.
They say two guinea pigs are better than one and luckily, I am bonded to my best friend, Patch. We really enjoy eating, sleeping and playing together!
My long, luscious hair will need your help to keep me looking my best. Regular grooming is a must.
Because I can be a shy guinea pig I can be a bit unsure of loud noises and very young children. I may be suitable to live with older kids as long as they are gentle and respect my space.
If you're looking for a delightful duo to add to your family, we would be thrilled to meet you! With a little love and patience, we are sure to blossom into confident and happy members of your household!
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
