Meet Salt, a tiny white and black kitten with a gentle heart who is searching for a patient family to help him discover that the world can be a safe and loving place.

Salt is a very timid little boy and currently spends much of his time hiding from people. New experiences can be overwhelming for him, so he's looking for a calm, understanding home where he can build confidence at his own pace. With kindness, patience, and plenty of gentle encouragement, Salt has every opportunity to blossom into a loving companion.

Because of his sensitive nature, Salt is looking for a quiet home with no young children. He'll need a dedicated safe room where he can settle in, explore at his own pace, and gradually learn that humans bring cuddles, comfort, and good things. While he may be shy now, the greatest reward will be watching him slowly come out of his shell and begin to trust.

As he's still growing, Salt will thrive in a calm, stable environment. A cosy bed, scratching post, hiding spots, and interactive toys will help him feel secure while he gains confidence.

For his safety, Salt must be strictly an indoor-only cat.

Salt comes with his first vaccination, provided by the facility. His new family will need to arrange two follow-up vaccinations with their private veterinarian to complete his kitten vaccination schedule.

At just 10 weeks old, Salt is at the perfect age to learn gentle handling, grooming, harness training, and positive social experiences. With time, love, and understanding, this little fellow has so much potential.
