Want to skip the kitten chaos without missing out on the fun? Panda and Peregrine (Peri) are two affectionate young sisters who are past the tiny kitten stage but still full of personality, playfulness and affection.
The best part? Their lovely house manners are already established. They’re litter trained, use their scratching posts, keep each other entertained and are ready to settle straight into family life.
These girls are a ready-made little family. They share beds, meals, toys, adventures and plenty of affection. They are incredibly bonded, and we are seeking a home where they can stay together.
🐼 Panda
Panda is the social butterfly of the pair. She loves people, happily climbs onto your lap for a cuddle and settles into new company with ease. She’s playful, curious and has an amazing talent for turning almost anything into a toy.
🖤 Peregrine (Peri)
Peri is the brave explorer of the duo. She loves climbing to the highest perch and is always quietly observing the world around her. Around unfamiliar people she’s a little more reserved and appreciates having time to decide you’re one of the good humans. Once you’ve earned your place in her heart, she’ll happily seek you out for affection and curl up beside you or on the bed.
CV Highlights
• Approximately 8 months old
• Desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and up to date with flea, tick and worm treatments
• Fully litter trained and happy using a variety of litter types
• Playful without being destructive, and happily use scratching posts and cardboard scratchers
• Love cat towers and high places
• Comfortable with other cats and calm, cat-savvy dogs after sensible introductions
• Likely to enjoy safe outdoor time in a secure catio or with patient harness training

Please note: Panda and Peregrine are available through Dog Rescue Newcastle and will only be adopted into an indoor-only home. A secure catio would be a wonderful bonus!
Their adoption fee is $450. They are desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas, ticks and worms, and microchipped.
They are in foster care in Lake Macquarie, NSW.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal
cheques.
