Beautiful calico girl Cali has spent far too much of her young life putting everyone else first.
After raising four litters of kittens back-to-back, this sweet mum has finally finished her parenting duties and is ready for something she's never really had before – a family to call her very own.
Cali is an incredibly affectionate and people-oriented cat who simply loves being near her humans.
Although she's not the type to curl up on you, she's more than happy to snuggle beside you on the couch, quietly keep you company while you work, or follow you from room to room just to be part of your day.
Cali’s calm, gentle personality makes her a wonderful companion and an easy addition to a peaceful home.
In foster care, Cali's confidence has continued to grow. She has recently started venturing beyond the safety of her foster room, happily exploring her surroundings and showing just how much she has blossomed now that she can finally relax and enjoy being cared for herself.
Like many cats who haven't always had life on their own terms, Cali prefers not to be picked up and appreciates people who respect her boundaries.
She'll happily offer affection when she's comfortable and trusts that her family will love her for exactly who she is.
After giving so much love to her kittens, Cali is more than ready to receive that same love in return.
Cali has not had any experience with dogs, so we do not recommend a home with a dog/s. She has also been an only cat in foster care so if you do have a cat, you will need to commit to slow and careful introduction over time, in order to have a successful integration with your kitty.
Cali would be totally fine as your one and only, and she would happily manage being alone during the day while you are at work or out and about.

**Dandy Cat Rescue is a small rescue run by volunteers. We care for cats and kittens in our own homes. We will respond to your request just as soon as we possibly can and thank you for your patience.**

Adoption details
HOW TO ADOPT FROM US:
1. Email dandycatrescue@yahoo.com and request an adoption form to be sent to you, fill it out and return it to us. We’ll be in touch!
2. If your application is successful, we’ll make arrangements for you to visit our cats and kittens at our foster carer’s home.
3. We ask that you pay the nominated fee to us via online bank deposit either at the adoption day or at the home visit (preferred), or in cash. We do not accept eftpos, credit or debit card transactions at this stage.
4. You will be provided with a folder of paperwork for your new kitty upon adoption. Your adoption fee includes a Central Animal Records Change of Ownership that is completed by us online two weeks after the adoption.
