Meet Poppy 🌸
Poppy is a beautiful 1.5-year-old girl with a happy, affectionate nature and so much love to give. She is a true people dog who adores being with her family and loves being included in everyday life. Friendly and social, Poppy enjoys the company of other dogs, is comfortable around cats, and absolutely loves children, making her a wonderful companion for an active family.
Personality 🐾
Poppy is a bright, fun-loving girl who is always keen to be part of the action. She is affectionate, loyal, and thrives on human companionship. She loves making new friends and has a gentle, happy personality that makes her a joy to have around. She's also very food motivated, which means she's always excited to learn and eager to please.
Training 🎓
Poppy is a clever young dog with plenty of potential. Her love of treats makes training enjoyable and rewarding, and she'll thrive with continued guidance and consistency. While she was originally thought to have come from a farm, she has shown a strong interest in chasing cattle and is also curious about poultry. She has been improving with ongoing management and training, but she'll need a family committed to continuing this work. Because of this, Poppy would be best suited to a home where livestock and free-ranging poultry aren't part of her daily environment.

Poppy would make a fantastic family dog for a home that can include her in their adventures and daily life. She'd love a family with children, another friendly dog to play with, or simply people who have plenty of time to spend with her. ~As a working breed I will need lots of training, exercise & mental stimulation. How to do plan to meet those needs?
~ Have you done any training with other dogs? If so what training have you and your previous/current dog completed?
~I will need additional vet work in my life time such as follow up
vaccinations etc, is this a problem?
~I will also need flea and worm treatments to keep me at my
optimum health, are you prepared for that?
~I've had a diet since being at the rescue of quality biscuits, can you guarantee to continue my current diet?
~ I am a good 10-20 years commitment are you 100% ready to
give me a home?

~A yard check or photographic proof of secure fencing, shelter & sleeping areas will be required.
~Written agreement is required by your landlord/real estate for rental properties. A rates notice is required for homeowners.
~A vet reference may be required.
