About Birdie
Birdie is a young, sweet, and gentle little mum who has finally finished raising her babies and is ready for a peaceful life of her own. She came into care when the pound reached out for help with a very young cat and her newborn kittens, only a couple of days old. Despite her timid nature, Birdie devoted herself to her babies with quiet determination, and now that they’re grown and independent, it’s her turn to be cherished.
Birdie is naturally shy, but once she feels safe and begins to trust you, her loving side shines through. She becomes affectionate in her soft, subtle way — leaning in for gentle pats, relaxing in your presence, and showing you her sweet personality one small step at a time. She’s the kind of cat who forms deep bonds with the people she trusts, offering quiet companionship and tender affection.
Because of her timid nature, Birdie is looking for a calm, quiet home where she can be the only pet. She would thrive with adults who are gentle, patient, and understanding — people who will let her settle at her own pace and celebrate each little moment of confidence she gains.
Birdie has done the hard work of raising her kittens. Now she’s ready for a forever family who will give her the peaceful, loving life she deserves.
All Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens come to you vet checked, desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, flea treated, and litter trained. As we are a rescue group, the adoption fee is not negotiable. Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens are indoor or cat enclosure only and must go to homes that intend them to stay that way. This is for their safety, the health of the cat or kitten and for the environment. It is our foster carer’s choice as to which home a cat or kitten goes to. We match the cats and kittens to the adoptee; we do not necessarily “sell” to the first caller. As our foster carers are all volunteers raising the cats and kittens in their own home, we would appreciate you letting them know if you cannot make an appointment.
