Hi, I'm Elara.

I started life in a backyard in Sheidow Park alongside my feline family, and while the world can still seem a little overwhelming at times, I'm learning every day that people can be kind.

I'm a beautiful fluffy dilute tortoiseshell with a gentle heart. I might greet you with a little hiss when we first meet, but please don't let that fool you, it's just my way of saying I'm a bit unsure. I would never hurt you, and with slow, gentle movements, I quickly realise I'm safe.

Once I feel comfortable, I absolutely love attention. Pats are one of my favourite things, and I'll happily soak up all the affection you're willing to give.

I've grown up surrounded by other cats, so I'd love a home with a friendly feline companion or someone who understands that confidence comes with patience. All I really need is someone who'll let me settle in at my own pace and show me that the world isn't such a scary place after all.
