About Lexi
Lexi & Neve – The Ultimate Double Dose of Love! 🐱💕
Meet Lexi and Neve, two incredibly adorable and loving little ladies who will steal your heart the moment you meet them.
Lexi is a beautiful 13-year-old Russian Blue and Neve is a gorgeous 10-year-old Devon Rex. Together they are a perfectly bonded pair of sweethearts who adore people and bring endless joy, amusement, and companionship wherever they go.
Their previous family was heartbroken to rehome them, but they are planning extensive travel and know that catteries are very stressful for Lexi and Neve. They wanted these girls to have a permanent, loving home where they can truly thrive with someone who will cherish their sweet, quirky personalities.
These girls are incredibly low maintenance, deeply affectionate, and genuinely love human company. They’re the kind of cats that make a house feel like a home.
Their Personalities
Neve is the ultimate social butterfly – a professional lap-warmer who constantly seeks affection. She’s vocal (especially at dinner time!) and loves cuddling up to both her humans and Lexi for grooming sessions.
Lexi is the chilled queen of the house. She’s a little more independent and enjoys her quiet time, but she’ll gently let you know when she’s ready for some love. Together they balance each other perfectly – one’s the energetic cuddler, the other the calm observer.
Unlike many cats, this duo loves visitors! They’ll enthusiastically greet guests at the door, inspect new smells, and check out handbags like a welcoming committee.
Their foster family fell instantly in love with them from the second they arrived.
Ideal Home
Lexi and Neve are strictly indoor-only cats who are used to apartment or indoor living with safe access to a secure balcony for sunbathing. They’re beautifully clumsy and “un-catlike” in their coordination, which only makes them more endearing.
They thrive best in a calm, stable, routine-loving home. Lexi especially appreciates predictability, and a consistent daily schedule helps keep her happy and stress-free. If you’re a true cat lover looking for deep companionship, this entertaining pair will fit beautifully into a peaceful household.
Care & Needs
They eat Royal Canin Satiety dry food to help maintain a healthy weight.
They happily share a double bowl and finish eating at exactly the same time (Neve has a big appetite, so portions need monitoring).
They currently share two litter trays – a third tray is highly recommended during the transition period to help Lexi feel secure.
If you’re ready to welcome two affectionate, low-maintenance, and utterly adorable companions into your life, Lexi and Neve would be incredibly lucky to call you family.
Currently located in Mont Albert North with their amazing foster family.
About Us
Urban Feline Australia is a small, independent cat rescue dedicated to saving surrendered cats from kill shelters and finding them loving, permanent homes.
Founded and run by a passionate animal lover with the support of dedicated friends and volunteers, we specialise in caring for cats that have previously lived in family homes but, for various reasons, can no longer stay with their owners.
Since our inception, we have been fortunate to build a small but dedicated network of volunteer foster carers. These compassionate individuals welcome the surrendered cats into their homes, providing them with love, care, and a safe environment while we search for their perfect forever families.
As a tiny, grassroots rescue with no government funding or large facilities, every rescue is powered by compassion, community support, and a genuine commitment to animal welfare.
All adoption fees and donations go directly toward the essential needs of the cats in our care — including premium food, veterinary treatment, litter, equipment, and ongoing medical support. We rely heavily on the generosity of our foster carers, volunteers, and supporters to continue our work.
Our long-term vision is to expand so we can help even more cats in need. This includes securing a larger dedicated property and, one day, possibly opening a cat café to raise awareness and funds while creating a welcoming space for cat lovers.
How You Can Help
As a small, independent rescue, we depend entirely on the kindness and generosity of our supporters and animal lovers like you. If you would like to support our mission and help us save more lives, please visit the donations page on our website. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a meaningful difference.
We’d also love to connect with you on social media:

Following and sharing our pages helps us reach more potential adopters and supporters. If we can grow our audience, we’ll be able to generate a small ongoing income to sustain and expand the rescue.
We are always in need of foster carers. If you have a safe, loving temporary home and would like to help us care for a cat on their journey to their forever family, please get in touch. The more foster homes we have, the more cats we can save.
Thank you for taking the time to learn about Urban Feline Australia.
Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of many beautiful cats. 💙

Adoption details
We try to make things very easy and straight forward while at the same time making sure we are matching the right cat to the right home.
The first step in the adoption process is a quick chat over the phone to make you are able meet the cats needs and your home is a good fit for the cats personality.
From there we will organize a meet and greet the cats foster home where you will be able to see the cat in action and get a gauge of their personality.
Once you have adopted you new furry feline friend we offer ongoing support and you are welcome to contact us anytime if you have questions, concerns or need advice.
We work hard to make sure that each cat is a good fit for their new home but in the unlikely even that things do not work out we have a 21 day cooling off period and you are more than welcome to return the cat to us during that time.
We will happily refund 50% of the adoption fee or you are welcome to donate this refund to assist with the ongoing cost of the animals care.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
