About Bruce
Meet Bruce and Kion, two stunning 6-year-old ginger brothers who are more laid back than an ironing board.
These boys are the ultimate low-maintenance legends – they sleep all day, kick back in the sun or their favourite spots, and cause absolutely zero drama. Nothing fazes them. Not dogs, not kids, not anything. They’re proper easy-going Australian cats who just want to enjoy life at their own relaxed pace.
Why they’ll steal your heart:
Bruce and Kion are happier than a dog with two tails just chilling. These fellas are super relaxed and incredibly low maintenance – they sleep most of the day, kick back in the sun or their favourite spots, and cause absolutely no hassle. They’re more laid back than an ironing board and perfectly happy to entertain themselves, but when you sit down and put your feet up in the evening, they’ll be all over you for cuddles. They’re super affectionate without being demanding – the perfect combo for anyone after easy-going feline company.
They’re also incredibly adaptable. They were a little shy on their first day in the foster home, but it didn’t take long before they were out and about, purring like mad and seeking pats. These boys settle in anywhere. Having grown up in a busy household with young kids and dogs, they’re well-socialised and comfortable with both. They’d make brilliant family cats, but they’re so easy-going they’d fit perfectly into just about any home – busy, quiet, apartment, house with a yard, you name it.
Bruce and Kion are beautiful ginger brothers who were rescued at just 12 weeks old from a local cat rescue. They’ve been adored family members ever since – microchipped, desexed, healthy, and with lovely gentle natures. They love attention and pats but are also happy to give you space when needed. They’re comfortable both indoors and outdoors and have adapted brilliantly to family life.
Unfortunately their current family has to rehome them because of allergies in the household (and among friends of the kids). It’s breaking their hearts, as these boys have been loved every single day. Their previous owners say anyone would be extremely lucky to have these beautiful, affectionate cats.
Important note: These brothers have always been together and we’d love for them to stay that way in their forever home. They’re bonded and bring each other comfort.
If you’re after two relaxed, cuddly, zero-hassle mates who’ll add warmth and ginger purrs to your home, Bruce and Kion are your boys. They’re ready to kick back in their new forever spot – whether that’s sunning themselves on the windowsill or curling up on the couch with you after a long day.
Bruce and Kion are approximately 6 years old, are desexed, microchipped and vaccinated and located with their super foster family in Upwey.
Give these legends the loving home they deserve – you won’t regret it, mate!

About Us
Urban Feline Australia is a small, independent cat rescue dedicated to saving surrendered cats from kill shelters and finding them loving, permanent homes.
Founded and run by a passionate animal lover with the support of dedicated friends and volunteers, we specialise in caring for cats that have previously lived in family homes but, for various reasons, can no longer stay with their owners.
Since our inception, we have been fortunate to build a small but dedicated network of volunteer foster carers. These compassionate individuals welcome the surrendered cats into their homes, providing them with love, care, and a safe environment while we search for their perfect forever families.
As a tiny, grassroots rescue with no government funding or large facilities, every rescue is powered by compassion, community support, and a genuine commitment to animal welfare.
All adoption fees and donations go directly toward the essential needs of the cats in our care — including premium food, veterinary treatment, litter, equipment, and ongoing medical support. We rely heavily on the generosity of our foster carers, volunteers, and supporters to continue our work.
Our long-term vision is to expand so we can help even more cats in need. This includes securing a larger dedicated property and, one day, possibly opening a cat café to raise awareness and funds while creating a welcoming space for cat lovers.
How You Can Help
As a small, independent rescue, we depend entirely on the kindness and generosity of our supporters and animal lovers like you. Following and sharing our pages helps us reach more potential adopters and supporters. If we can grow our audience, we’ll be able to generate a small ongoing income to sustain and expand the rescue.
We are always in need of foster carers. If you have a safe, loving temporary home and would like to help us care for a cat on their journey to their forever family, please get in touch. The more foster homes we have, the more cats we can save.
Thank you for taking the time to learn about Urban Feline Australia.

Adoption details
We try to make things very easy and straight forward while at the same time making sure we are matching the right cat to the right home.
The first step in the adoption process is a quick chat over the phone to make you are able meet the cats needs and your home is a good fit for the cats personality.
From there we will organize a meet and greet the cats foster home where you will be able to see the cat in action and get a gauge of their personality.
Once you have adopted you new furry feline friend we offer ongoing support and you are welcome to contact us anytime if you have questions, concerns or need advice.
We work hard to make sure that each cat is a good fit for their new home but in the unlikely even that things do not work out we have a 21 day cooling off period and you are more than welcome to return the cat to us during that time.
We will happily refund 50% of the adoption fee or you are welcome to donate this refund to assist with the ongoing cost of the animals care.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
