About Sambi - 3 Year Old Staffy
Meet Sambi, a gentle and loving 3.5-year-old sweetheart who is ready to find her forever home.
Sambi is fantastic on the lead - she walks calmly by your side, never pulling or darting after other animals. She is a quick learner who responds eagerly to praise, and she's already mastered the basic commands like coming when called and touching her nose to your palm.
Sambi is just as amazing around food. She’s been enjoying a mix of pre-prepared and homemade meals—sweet potatoes, pumpkin, broccoli, rice, and proteins—and she is a happy, non-begging companion at mealtime. You can eat around her without a fuss—she is just happy to be near you and share in your company.
She has got a lot of love to give and will settle right into your presence. Although she might jump a little out of excitement, a quick step back is all it takes for her to understand. She is also a champ in the car—settled and calm with no fuss—and she’s perfectly fine with bath time and grooming, letting you handle her ears, eyes, and paws without any trouble.
Sambi is dog friendly with a friendly, non-reactive dog, and a few meets is preferred as Sambi is still decompressing.
While we haven’t fully tested her with a mix of dog breeds and sizes yet, we can say she’s a total sweetheart with people and is ready to bring a lot of joy to her new family.
