About Scooby
🐾 Ruh-Roh... Meet Scooby! 🐾
Like, are you looking for a loyal best mate to join your Mystery Inc. crew? Then Ruh-Roh!... Scooby might just be the dog you've been searching for! 💙
Just like his famous cartoon namesake, Scooby is all heart. He's a lovable, people-focused Staffy who believes every adventure is better when shared with his favourite humans. Whether it's a trip to the park, a weekend outing, or simply solving the mystery of who's got the snacks, Scooby is ready to be right by your side.
Scooby's superpower? Loving his people. This handsome boy thrives on affection and companionship. A scratch behind the ears, a cuddle on the couch, or simply being included in the action is enough to make his tail wag at full speed. He'll happily follow you from room to room, making sure you're never alone on your next adventure.
Much like the original Scooby-Doo, our Scooby is at his happiest when he's part of a team. Having his favourite people nearby helps him feel confident and secure, and in return he'll reward you with unwavering loyalty, plenty of laughs, and a friendship that's stronger than any mystery-solving partnership.
Behind those soulful eyes is a dog who simply wants to belong. He's looking for a family who will include him in daily life, shower him with affection, and appreciate the incredible bond he has to offer.
So, if you're searching for a faithful sidekick who's equal parts lovable, affectionate and devoted...
🦴 "Scooby-Dooby-Doo, where are you?"
Right here at BARC, patiently waiting for his forever family.
Come meet Scooby and discover that the greatest mystery of all is how this wonderful boy hasn't found his home yet. 💙🐾
If you're ready for a devoted companion who will stand by you through it all, Scooby is ready to be your biggest fan and your very best friend. 🐶✨

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
