Some cats are simply too trusting for life on the streets, and Charlotte is one of them.
This beautiful medium-haired tuxedo girl is approximately 1 year and 4 months old. I met Charlotte at one of the colony feeding locations I care for, and unlike the other cats, she walked straight up looking for affection. It was obvious she belonged in a loving home, not struggling to survive outdoors.
Since coming into care, Charlotte has shown just how special she is. She is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and gentle, with a heart full of love. She adores pats, enjoys being brushed, and is happiest when she's close to her people.❤️
Because Charlotte is so trusting, she must be an indoor only kitty where she can be safe and protected. She would likely thrive as the only cat in the home, though she may also do well with the right feline companion.
What breaks my heart is that Charlotte has been waiting so long for someone to choose her. Despite everything, she still greets each day with love in her heart, hoping her forever family is just around the corner.❤️
She isn't looking for a perfect home, just a loving one. A place where she can finally belong, feel safe, and be cherished for the beautiful soul she is

Adoption details
Animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and on heartworm prevention / and also FIV tested for cats where possible. They are not available for adoption outside NSW (except ACT). Please email adoptpar@gmail.com if you would like further information.
Dogs and cats are rehomed on two weeks trial to ensure that both the person adopting them and the rescuer are satisfied that the dog / cat / animal is happy and adapting well to their new home and this can be extended on request
Please be aware that Paws and Recover is run by volunteers who also work. We endeavour to answer enquires as quickly as possible. Some animals will inevitably be very popular and will generate many enquires. Where there is a high volume of enquires received, it will be our priority to contact those that best fit the requirements of the animal. This may mean that it is not possible for all enquires to be answered. Please keep an eye on the website for all updates.
