Gabby

Gabby is a cat who likes to set the rules, and her number one rule is simple: personal space, please.

This independent girl isn't looking for constant cuddles or to be carried around. She prefers to observe the world on her own terms and will need a patient, understanding home that allows her to move at her own pace. A quiet household without young children would suit her best, and we think a confident older cat could help show her that humans aren't so bad after all.

While affection may take time, playtime is another story entirely. Gabby absolutely loves to play and has enough enthusiasm to keep herself entertained for hours. In fact, despite not being orange, she possesses an impressive amount of orange cat energy—whether that's launching herself after toys, making questionable life decisions, or generally keeping things interesting.

For the right person, Gabby is a rewarding project: a quirky, spirited cat who deserves a home willing to appreciate her exactly as she is.

Our adoptable cats are indoor-only to keep them safe, healthy and happy. We ask all adopters to provide a secure indoor home where their new companion can thrive.

For all cats under 12 months old, Rocky Roads Rescue has a strict, no single kittens adoption policy. Solo adoptions will only be permitted if specified in the cat's profile.
