Chai is a playful, independent girl who knows exactly what she likes—and sometimes that means enjoying her own company. She's not the type to throw herself into your arms on day one, but with a little patience (and a few tasty treats), you'll find her slowly letting her guard down and giving people a chance.

Curious and full of character, Chai likes to keep an eye on everything that's happening around her. In fact, she's become so dedicated to surveillance duties that we're fairly certain she's having an identity crisis and believes she's actually a meerkat. If there's a high vantage point available, you can bet Chai will be standing tall, carefully monitoring her kingdom.

For someone who appreciates a cat with a bit of independence, a lot of personality, and a delightfully quirky streak, Chai might just be your perfect match.

Our adoptable cats are indoor-only to keep them safe, healthy and happy. We ask all adopters to provide a secure indoor home where their new companion can thrive.

For all cats under 12 months old, Rocky Roads Rescue has a strict, no single kittens adoption policy. Solo adoptions will only be permitted if specified in the cat's profile.
